Matthew Snyder, Chef

In a way, Matthew's career has come full circle. He got his start 16 years of age at Armondo's Café Italiano. Upon graduating from Renton High School he attended the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. He returned to Seattle and worked at a few notable restaurants, including three years at Ponti Seafood Grill. Matthew relocated to Aspen, Colorado where he opened the Aspen Club Cafe. He then moved to Boulder, Colorado to start a restaurant of his own. While there, Matthew and his partners fostered one of Boulder's finest restaurants. After returning to the Pacific Northwest Matthew and Armondo were reunited and developed the reopening of the Melrose.
